STATEMENT
“The essence of all things is not in each of them, but between the things.
I want to show this silently through my works, as beautifully as possible.”
Anything, all things in this world, have its own power or charm.
We cannot notice in daily lives.
I hope audience to be conscious of such things through my works.
To show such things, in my works, I remove roles or meanings which we, human, give things from them, and rewires (reconstruct) the relationships between their own power or attractive points themselves and roles or meanings human gives them. In other words, to notice brilliance of things, I rewire the structure or relations in my works and brings out the charms. And also, I focuse on the atmosphere or impression things make rather than things itself.
