STATEMENT
I use techniques of traditional japanese painting as well as a combination of layered silk and Chintz to serve as a means of expression.
My source of inspiration is “Nature Worship” because I believe that however civilization may develop, human beings can not revolt against the laws of nature.
I strive to covey a fusion of plane and space through representational and abstract painting to lyrically express “a return to nature”.
作品の表現の手段として伝統的な日本絵画の技術や、絹と絹、和更紗文様の組み合わせを使っています。
私のインスピレーションの源は、どんなに文明が発達しても自然の法則に抵抗できないという観念から生まれる自然崇拝の念です。
こうした「自然回帰」をテーマに抽象と具象、平面と立体を融合させながら叙情的に表現する事を試みています。
